To Ethan (Booze Up, Genius!)

Dear Ethan,

Let me tell you what happened the other night. Me and your dad were playing toys with you on the floor. As usual, you kept randomly picking up one toy and throwing it away before your picked up another. Then, I said, "Ethan! Butterfly!" Rolling eyes to the left and right, YOU WERE TRYING TO LOOK FOR IT! Then you slowly stretched your arm and LANDED YOUR HAND ON THE BUTTERFLY TOY!!!!!! And that's the moment firework would explode in the night sky above our house. Both me and your dad tried to calm down each other, "Nah! Butterfly is one of his favorite toys, of course he sticks with it." We tried "School Bus!" You laid your eyes on it before you grabbed it with your another hand. Honey Bunny? Got it! Duckie? Got it! Ethan, you've almost lost me to heart attack. WHERE DID YOU LEARN THIS FROM? I can't be humble anymore. I'm a mom, I have every right to brag about it. YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!! You are going to graduate from college at age 10.

Just because you are going to finish college at 10, it doesn't mean you can start drinking by then. I know it runs into family. But if you ever get yourself drunk at the age you still have no idea what you are doing, and do silly things like drunk driving, you can consider yourself grounded until you are 70.

And, I'm not kidding.
